BRINGING LIGHT TO THE HALLS OF POWER
When you look at our nation — and even our home state — it is easy to feel disheartened. Laws drift from God’s truth. Political pressure silences Christian conviction. Many leaders feel spiritually alone in the very place where truth needs a voice.
But because of your partnership, that is not the end of the story.
Your prayers, friendship and generosity are placing a ministry of PRESENCE, PRAYER, and PROCLAMATION week after week in the Capitol and halls of leadership. Legislators and leaders are gathering around the person of Jesus and the Word of God — finding courage, conviction, and clarity through the gospel. Light is invading where the darkness has long prevailed. Thank you, Jesus and thank you dear friends for making possible this endeavor to reach leaders. It is indeed a mission field.
Fifteen years of ministry are almost in the history books. How time flies. I hope you track with us through the monthly newsletters or daily posts on LinkedIn or Facebook to keep up with the deeds of the Lord and our journey. This year Capitol Commission partnered with Understanding the Word Ministries and put personalized Life Application Bibles into the hands of every legislator in thirty states, individually given. Over a quarter of a million people were interacted with on my social media alone. Leaders’ lives are being impacted weekly in Bible Study and one-on-one.
My recent prostate cancer surgery was indeed a reminder of the brevity of life. Fortunately, the pathology report indicates all the aggressive cancer was removed. Just prior to my health challenges, I went to a community meeting with the Speaker of the House and a group of Senators, Reps, and community leaders. I could not miss the snipers on the rooftops that reminded me of our fallen world. In the midst these times, I saw more leaders than ever declare their allegiance to Jesus and Jesus alone being the ultimate answer for our nation and souls. Glory be to God.

You have sacrificially partnered with Donna and me for years now to serve God’s Kingdom purposes. You have prayed, supported and encouraged us so we can minister to leaders with biblical values and our hearts. Out of caring for a leader’s heart comes relational equity to be considered their friends. These trust-filled relationships require empathy, time and consistency. Eternal fruit often flows out of extending God’s friendship to leaders. We are seeing Jesus’ impact on one of the most important mission fields. Thank you for strategically making this work possible and for your many years of friendship with Donna and me. It is a joy to work with my friends to help new friends meet Jesus in a vital way. Financial Update
As a faith-based ministry, I am required to raise all my support. The core of the ministry has been supported by people making monthly commitments to GRACE ADVENTURES, and this has been supplemented by one-time gifts. I am grateful for God’s provision.

Merry Christmas to You
Christmas is upon us. It is hard to believe that 2026 is only a few weeks away! These last few years have been difficult for so many. We have rejoiced with those who rejoice and hurt with those who have been hurt, sick, grieved, or experienced loss.
Donna has continued her service with the Crisis Pregnancy Center, teaches an on-going Bible study, leads a mentoring ministry to young moms, and plays a major role with Capitol Commission.
